As I l look longingly at my calendar counting down to the break over Christmas it occurred to me that finishing and starting dates for the break are inconsistent.

As a “gift” to your customers, suppliers, supporters and everyone else who supports your business – include a small footnote in your email signature as to when you’ll be closing for Christmas and when you’ll be open again. A generic email stating this may get lost, whereas if your details are in your signature or on your website – it’ll make it easier for everyone to find / remember.

It’s simple but is overlooked so often.
